My work is inspired by the characteristics of light. As the theme is the art of deception, the word illusion was the first word that struck my mind. So I decided to take the elements that caused the illusion. When white light passes through a prism, refraction splits the light into its component wavelengths and you see a rainbow. This was the focus of my painting, and I have estalished this by using these rainbow colours as the base colour for the background.
