Pollution in the world inspired my work. Specifically water pollution. I used the visual deception of the tap not attached to a pipe and floating in the air. Peeling back the right corner of the pool is a visual deception that reveals what is underneath the surface. Sometimes us humans think we are doing a great job at looking after the ocean, land and the animals - this shown through the clear water gushing out of the tap into the pristine pool. However, when the peel reveals dirty water and rubbish, we realise we have been deceived all along.
