Age is but a number - My work is inspired by my grandmother who often says that even though her body gets older she still feels the same (young) on the inside. In my work I have illustrated this with the older hands holding a mirror and in her mind her eyes deceive her as the reflection she sees is how she feels on the inside not as the physical image is. I have painted numbers subtly in the background to symbolise age is but a number.
