My artwork is inspired by the deception around politics and the lies that society is essentially built on. I chose to use former US President Richard Nixon and his infamous denial "I am not a crook!" to highlight this. In the background I have placed a selection of real headlines from newspapers at the time to show how involved the media is in the creation of a single persons image whether that be real or not.
